Rules of the game

In lacrosse you play with a crosse, each position has one and each is specialized based on position. In lacrosse you play a 3-3-3-1 where you have 3 attackers, 3 midfielders, 3 defenders, and 1 goalie. Basically, the goal of lacrosse is to score as many goals as possible in the goal with the crosse. History

Lacrosse is over a thousand years old and was made by the native americans. This sport was created to heal the sick or compromise disputes. This sport used to be played with a wooden stick and you would carry a ball with it. Also, the field was extremely long sometimes consisting of multiple miles long. The game also was played with 100 to 1,000 men and the games were days long. This game had a change in the 1630s where a French Jesuit missionaire watched the sport being played and thought the stick looked like a cross and which he then decided to call it La crosse for the cross in French.

Conclusions

In conclusion, lacrosse is a sport that has been around for millennials and is a sport that should truly be cherished.
