After a 1 – 1 game against DR Congo, Portugal was feeling down. Neves was the only one who scored against DR Congo, it looked like Cristiano Ronaldo deceived everyone. Soccer stars like Haaland, Mbappé, Vinicius Junior and Messi had already scored in the World Cup. Ronaldo is often compared to Lionel Messi, who had already scored 5 goals in total in the 2026 World Cup. Ronaldo wanted to show everyone that he was better than everyone thought. The Portugal starting eleven was composed of: Diego Costa, João Cancelo, Rúben Dias, Renato Veiga, Nuno Mendes, João Neves, Vintinha, Pedro Neto, Bruno Fernandes, João Félix and Cristiano Ronaldo. The substitutes used were Nélson Semedo, Francisco Conceição, Francisco Trincão, Bernardo Silva and Rafael Leão.

The game starts. At the 6th minute the ball is worked to the penalty area where Cristiano Ronaldo scores Portugal’s first goal. Odildzhon Khamrobeko fouls a player and gets a yellow card, the Portuguese get a free kick, Nuno Mendes shoots the free kick and scores in the 17th minute! In the 29th minute, Azizjon Ganiev scores a goal for Uzbekistan! Unfortunately, the goal does not count due to a foul on Cancelo. The score remains 2 – 0. Almost at the end of the first half, the legend Ronaldo scores with a quick attacking move with help from Bruno Fernandes. That seals the first half of the game! 15 minutes later the game is back on, Portugal is still dominating.

C. Ronaldo tries to score but Abduvokhid Nematov makes a save. In the 60th minute the Portuguese players attack and Abduvokhid Nematov accidentally scores an own goal. 17 minutes later, Rafael Leão manages to score a last goal. After the final whistle, Cristiano Ronaldo shouts “I’m back, I’m back.” PORTUGAL WINS!
