In this article we will tell you how some sports balls are made.
There are many types of balls and
they’re all made differently. First up is the cricket balls, they’re made of cork, leather, and yarn.
The first step is to wrap the yarn around the cork, then we have to encase that yarn in leather for a smooth surface on the ball. Second are baseballs. To start off we have to make the
“pill” with three layers: black & red rubber ( two types, red and black). Then, we need to
coat that pill, then we have to wrap it in 5 layers of yarn. Finally, it’s encased in leather or horse hides. The third ball we are going to talk about are basketballs. To start them off, we need to
Make the core of the basketball made of rubber that holds air. Then, it’s wrapped in a thread then, encased in synthetic leather panels that are glued on. Up next are tennis balls (my personal favorite). First, the tennis balls(solutions of rubber on the cores) are Put in a moulding press to cure the rubber solution on the core, and make its spherical shape. Then, we remove
The moulded ball and cool it (It’s really simple to make a tennis ball!).
