Introduction
24 year old Michael Olise played for France in the 2026 FIFA World Cup. He has shown great talent while he performed there. He has played for Bayern Munich since 2024 and for Crystal Palace (2021-2024) and Reading FC (2019-2021).
Olise is a great playmaker, that quality allowed many goals on the team he plays on.
Michael Olise was born December 12, 2001 in White City, London. Even though he was born in England, he was elected to play in the French team because of his mother’s French citizenship. At six years old, he joined a local youth soccer club named Hayes and Yeading United. He was really talented and was appreciated by his teammates. Olise then went to several academies: Arsenal, Chelsea Academy and Manchester City. At Chelsea Academy, the young playmaker was very talented but he was also a complicated player, he was uncooperative when training was set up in a different way. At 17 years old, the young french player joined Reading FC.
He was also selected to play for France in the 2024 Olympics. Unfortunately, he lost in the Olympic finals against Spain. The score was 5 – 3 for Spain. During the 2026 World Cup, Michael Olise did not manage to score a single goal but he helped many of his teammates score one. A recent scandal about Olise is that his ex-girlfriend, Fatima Zaunbrecher, accused him of financial neglect and a lack of contract regarding their young daughter.
