Introduction
Lamine Yamal is a soccer player for the iconic F.C. Barcelona in La-Liga. He is a magnificent winger, making plenty of assists, and sometimes goals! He’s a youngster, currently only 17 years old, but has already ripped up soccer history!
He is already widely known as the best soccer player in the world, or The Next Messi. He is an absolutely sensational player; here is a youtube video of some of his best performances
Early Life
Lamine Yamal Nasraoui Ebana, or just Lamine, was born on July 13th, 2007 in the Municipality of Esplugues de Llobregat, Spain to Sheila Ebana, (Mother) and Mounir Nasraoui. (Father) You might be thinking, then where did the name Lamine Yamal come from? Well, his parents named him in honor of two individuals who helped his parents financially before Lamine’s birth.
Some people believe that the reason Lamine is so good is because when he was very young, Lionel Messi “blessed” him. Messi, the twenty year old Barcelona star, bathed Lamine as a photo shoot for charity reasons when Yamal was only six months old! Later on, his parents divorced when he was three.
He grew up playing soccer, and joined a local soccer team at the age of four. He was then scouted, and brought to Barcelona’s youth team, La Masia, at only six years old! His family then moved to Barcelona to give Lamine the chance to easily live and play with La Masia.
Walking the path of a star
Lamine Yamal is currently playing for F.C. Barcelona in the Spanish La Liga, and he nationally plays for Spain. At only 17 years old, he has scored twenty-two goals with barca, and twenty-four assists. With Spain, he has three goals, and four assists. He is an excellent winger, doing his job perfectly; he has humiliated countless defenders, has made countless crosses, and countless shots. Many people say Lamine is “Walking on Clouds”, or “Living a Dream”, but honestly, you have to give the boy credit.
Lionel Messi, (Yes, the same guy that currently plays for Inter Miami F.C.) publicly praised Lamine, and his talent. Messi has even announced Yamal his potential – Successor –
Messi also appears to be proud, because beginning next season, Yamal will officially be part of the Messi+10 group* . The winger is changing his kit number from the iconic 19, to 10!
Future Plans
Lamine is ending his contract with Barcelona, but Hansi Flick (Barcelona Manager) renewed the contract for 5 more seasons. Yamal will stay with Barcelona from here until June 30, 2030. The youngster hasn’t really thought about his next club, but that makes sense, since he’s only 17. All Lamine knows is that he wants to become great, but he wants to stay humble about it.
Conclusion
Lamine Yamal is by far one of the best 17 year old soccer players worldwide. According to beIN Sports, Lamine Yamal is Barcelona’s new gold mine, and is making fans forget about Messi. Since the soccer player is so young, he inspired a whole generation of soon-to-be golden soccer stars.
