In this article, we’ll be talking about who Kevin De Bruyne is.
Kevin De Bruyne, is a soccer player who currently plays for Manchester City, and the Belgian National team. He is one of the many great midfielders the world has ever seen. Born on June 18, 1991, in Drongen, Belgium, to Anna (mother) and Herwig (father).When Kevin was 6 years old, he already started to play competitive soccer in the KAA Gent academy! (KAA Gent is a Belgian club) Later that year, he had to travel for a few months to go play some games, so he needed a foster family. One family wanted to take him in, so Kevin accepted. Kevin continued studying hard while he was gone from his school. When he lost his competition, the foster family abandoned him like a garbage bag, because he “wasn’t good enough”.
In the next 10 years of his soccer career, Kevin learned to turn his anger and frustration into soccer fuel. He got so good, that he now was playing for the KAA Gent youth team. (16 – 19 years) You might be wondering where he stayed now that he was on a travel team. Well, his manager put him in a “hotel for troubled teenagers” Later on, at the age of 19 years old, Kevin got his first girlfriend and got heartbroken when she admitted that she liked Thibaut Courtois, Kevin’s team-mate. In his future years, Kevin became insanely great at his sport. For example: the next club he went to was Chelsea! Then Wolfsburg, and finally, Manchester City! While he was playing for Man City, he then found his forever wife: Michelle Lacroix, and had three kids with her. De Bruyne will be nearing the end of his contract at Manchester City at the end of this season, and a few clubs are interested in signing him for a few more years. De Bruyne speaks of joining MLS San Diego FC, while Saudi Pro League Al Nassr is reflecting on him.
I admire Kevin De Bruyne, because no matter which situation he’s in, on and off the field, he can always find a way out!
