In this article, we’ll be talking about handball.

History:

Handball was created in Germany, they called it torball. People said it was for women who wanted to get physical exercise. In handball if you want to win you can not play solo, you have to pass to your teammates. To play handball people need to train a lot. They taught handball at school in the years of 1950. Handball got popular in Denmark in the 10th century. They called handball: “haandbold”. The professional players respect themselves.

Gear:

To play handball you need a handball. Handball goals are 2 meters tall and 3 meters wide.

Most of the time the goals are made of aluminum. Of course there is a net. Gloves are required in American handball so you can have a good grip on the ball. For shoes there are no specific shoes but personally I would recommend soccer shoes to have a good grip on grass if you are playing on grass.

Conclusion:

The french handball team is really in both genders they win a lot of medals.

From 2006 to 2008 the French team won everything. In 2009 the Croatian team were the world  champions. Handball is very popular and fascinating.
