In this article, we’ll be talking about the past of horseback riding.

Horseback riding is an old sport that requires patience and skill. It all started at approximately 3,500 B.C. and was founded by the Sredny Stog culture during the copper age in Ukraine 6,000 years ago! Native Americans (Also known as “First Nations”) used to use horses for hunting in the great plains. (After the Columbian Exchange to be clear, but if you want to learn about that, GO TO SCHOOL!!!) It had evolved during the years and became a great sport! Now it’s a famed sport especially in Italy, Dubai, the US, and of course, the Circus! Until 1948, military officers could only participate in Equitation. Dressage, and other types of riding joined in the 16th century. Now horseback riding is a modern sport still practiced everywhere around the globe!
