In this article, we’ll be talking about the Wimbledon Tournament.

On July 1st, one of the biggest tennis tournaments, Wimbledon, will be held at greater London. Wimbledon started in 1877, and is still played today!!!

These are four interesting facts about the Wimbledon:

  1. It’s probably the most prestigious tournament in tennis.
  2. The traditional dress-code is to wear only white clothes.
  3. It attracts a lot of famous celebrities. (Kings, Queens, Actors, etc…)
  4. It is played on grass fields!
