Wembanyama got injured earlier this season in February, 2025, and could not continue the season. Wembanyama is an excellent player, but what really makes him good is his height: 7 feet 3 ½ inches. He is now 20 years old. His injury is a *deep vein thrombosis (DVT). They found out he had the injury in his right shoulder after the All-Star games. Everyone (especially the fans) were upset that he couldn’t continue the season. Apparently he has a life-threatening deep vein thrombosis. The question is how will this injury affect the San Antonio Spurs? (Wembanyama plays for the Spurs)
*A deep vein thrombosis is when blood dries and becomes a blood clot and blocks the veins. If you use too much energy the blood clot will thicken and be worse.
