In this article, we’ll be talking about why sometimes there are two teams playing for only one city.
The example we will take for this article, is the city of Manchester, England. In soccer’s PL, (Premier League) two great teams play for the same city; Manchester United, and Manchester City. The question you must be asking yourself is “ Why two teams? “ Well, it’s simply because Manchester’s population is so large, that the people themselves voted for a second club, because they couldn’t get seats in the stadium. The first existing team was Man United,(1878) and a few years later, came along, Man City.(1894) Through the many years that have passed since then, the two legendary teams still dominate the fields.
